TEAM ABC
TEAM ABC encompasses talented kids who are not just up-and-coming but are now. Not only have they competed nationally but this summer many participated in several European competitions bringing an international aspect to this awesome team.
TEAM ABC highlights the best of what climbing has to offer all athletes: raw talent; commitment; determination; and humor. Embodying a true team spirit while also demanding first quality performances from within themselves this team has quickly risen to the top.
TEAM ABC also has an advantage that other Junior Teams lack: Coach Robyn Erbesfield Raboutou. Before she began coaching TEAM ABC she won the US Championship five times and is the winner of four World Cup Titles. Robyn has worked with elite junior athletes for over 15 years. Her son, Shawn, and her daughter Brooke, are ABC TEAM members.
Robyn Erbesfield Raboutou and her husband Didier Raboutou also started a climbing program in France several years ago.
Team ABC travels together, often to Europe to train and compete as well as domestically. As well, they are part of Robyn’s program, one of the first in the world that starts kids out climbing at a young age. While this team is exceptional TEAM ABC is constantly training and developing the next generation of elite athletes.
